The Makueni County Sand Conservation and Utilization Authority is currently seeking qualified candidates for multiple casual job vacancies in the areas of Enforcement and Revenue. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the sustainable management of sand resources within our community.
Job Vacancy Details:
- Enforcement Positions: 30 vacancies
- Revenue Positions: 10 vacancies
Job Description:
Enforcement Positions:
- Responsible for enforcing regulations about sand conservation and utilization.
- Conduct patrols and inspections to ensure compliance with established guidelines.
- Monitor and report any unauthorized sand extraction activities.
- Assist in the implementation of conservation measures.
Revenue Positions:
- Collect fees and revenue related to sand extraction permits.
- Maintain accurate records of transactions and permits issued.
- Provide assistance and support to permit holders regarding fee payments.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate revenue collection.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in enforcement or revenue collection is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and in outdoor environments.
